Does anyone know where I could find plans online to make a wicker bird-nest/house?

In a similar vein to the type of nest the Weaver Bird makes.

TIA.

Could you weave round, say, an empty plastic bottle (leaving the suitable hole in the side) then cut out the bottle afterwards? That looks to be the correct shape!

I can't see any, you might have to buy a cheap one and work it out from there http://www.ebay.co.uk...s&hash=item3a783800e0

Excellent, thank you.
There are quite a few lots of instructions if you google how to weave a birdhouse but the pictures won't show in my iPad for some reason so I haven't put links.
Ps for the same kind of idea that you could adapt, google how to weave a lavender bottle.
That's so sweet!
Don't think birds are too bothered by architecture.

Thank you.

I was hoping to find an idiots (i.e. me) guide and step-by-step instructions.

I'll probably have to go to basket-weaving classes and adapt the knowledge gained from there.
