Does anyone know how I can remove the glue from the labels on my new double glazing which the companies insist on plastering all over it?

You can buy nail varnish removal pads from most chemists & supermarkets. These are perfect for removing sticky lables from windows, cds, dvds, electrical equipment... etc.
And rubbing washing up liqud over the sticker in a circular motion will also do the job bob a jobs suggestion works a treat too.
I haven't actually tried it but I have heard that WD40 is very good at getting rid of sticky stuff .
Hair spray works well...
White spirit usually works. By the way my surname also is Gale.
Surgical spirit from a pharmacy
