How do I remove the brown staining on the inside of my Le Creuset casserole dish?

What type? (They make them from several different materials).

Whatever you do, don't use chlorine-based bleach- which is what most people on here recommend for cleaning everything!

If it's burnt-on food, caustic soda will shift it. Be very careful with it though, it's lethal stuff.

And whatever you do, don't use it on any aluminium pans.
if it's just staining rather than acttual bits of food, i wouldn't bother - think of it as seasoning
I use brillo pads, they seem to do the trick.
Biological washing powder is pretty good and most people have it to hand.
Soak overnight with soap powder if that does not work try filling with cheap diet coke boil and then leave to cool and rub.
...and don't use caustic soda on enamelled Le Creuset either - it will damage the surface.
gingejbee is absolutely right. Your casserole dish will probably last longer if you can put up with a few stains.
