Freezer problem.
1 Answers
Hi,
The top drawer of my freezer quickly ices up to the point where I am unable to open the drawer.
I have to chip away the ice regularly for fear of it causing damage and to gain access.
The rest of the drawers are fine.
It's about 4 years old.
I think it's probably the door seal but on inspection it looks fine.
Any ideas please.

It normally evaporates out of there due to the warm air from the fridge compressor, but on doingso, leaves a gunky mess that you should clean occasionally to prohibit unique and strange odors...
At any rate check to see that this drain is clear... it may need rinsing out with warm water or even running a small wire, such as a straightened wire clothes hangar down it to clear...
