Mixing different styles.
Still trying to rest re tendonitis hence more questions! lol
I've taken a liking to the shabby chic style, especially bedroom furniture, though I haven't actually bought anything in this style yet. My question is that I would quite like to get a dressing table/bedside cabinets in this style but cannot change my bed as it was expensive ,yet its a modern bed - chocolate brown leather. Would these two styles totally clash or is there a wa of making them work?

Very easy to do yourself. Just emulsion paint , colour of your choice, and some rubbing down of edges and corners.
Even if the styles aren't wholly compatible, it's the choice of colour(s) that helps things to "match".
