Smoke Alarm

Our smoke alarms are linked in with the burglar alarm system and an engineer arrived at 2.00 p.m. to replace a faulty one. It is now 5.00 p.m., he has replaced all three smoke alarms but none of them work.......neither will the burglar alarm set. Good job we have a comprehensive maintenance contract.

Engineer quit for the day at 5.30 p.m. yesterday and returned at 8.30 this morning...2 hours later he's still here. It took less time to originally install the bloody thing. Woe is me.

Oh dear. Our smoke alarm needed its battery replacing the other day. Mr BM said "Must replace that battery else you won't know when dinner is done".
