How do you clean battery acid from the inside of a metal torch? Many thanks in advance and have a nice day!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.By torch, I think you mean a flashlight, as we call it here in the U.S. You can either use water and baking soda as a paste which will neutralize the acid or use car battery terminal cleaner in the spray can. If you have hard acid scale on the side this will let you use a big long screwdriver to scrape it off. Then after it is all clean, spray some battery neutralizer from a can available at an automotive shop. The one to use is red in color, to stop the acid coming back. (Source: MagLite Fixer)
