Motion operated outdoor light
5 Answers
I have an outside sensor operated light which covers my back garden as far as the garage and is coming to the end of its life. It is a 500 (??400 halogen) watt. Can anyone recommend one for me that would be fairly weatherproof (I live near the sea with frequent winter storms).
Most I have looked at have a flimsy wall attachments hat would invariably rust.
Many thanks..

No brackets needed. There are so many. It's rather like anything else, Anne, use your own judgement as to quality and sturdyness. Avoid the cheapest. You'll find what you need. Above the cheapest price, they are all well waterproofed and durable.

........... forgot to add .............. it'll have an IP code on the box. "Ingress Protection". Probably IP44. Check here to see if you need any further protection..............
