How Often Do You Clean Behind The Sofa?!

I only pull my sofa out about once a month to hoover as I need help to move it.

Sister in law tells me she does her's every week, made me feel like a right dirty 'article' - maybe I am??!!

What do you do?

When we were younger we had to hoover under the sofa every other day!!

We cant move ours, its got huge great dogs on it!

I did it last in February. It's against the wall, all that ever gets down there is a few cat toys.

Don't forget that some people are obsessive about cleaning, they must do all the jobs every week. Some of us don't.

Ours is so heavy I can't pull it out .I doubt it's ever so mucky underneath though .I'm good at turning a blind eye to these things these days .It'll probably get done when I put the Christmas tree etc up .
We sold our previous sofa a few years ago though and I could have died of shame .We had Shaney then and when they came to collect it and lifted it out there was all black dog hair underneath ..lol..

I pull mine out nearly every week, but at least every fortnight. It's my bed that i have bother with. it's quite awkward to shift and not much room to move it about so I don't do that every week.

I can't tell you when I last moved my bed, OH keeps his shoes underneath there and the cats use it as a short cut.

I shudder to think what is behind and under my sofas, my motto is 'if you can't see it, what harm is it doing'. Actually, I am feeling v virtuous today as we tidied the dreaded toy corner out (to make room for the Christmas tree corner). Four bin bags of toys to chuck, and one each of Brio and Duplo to do something with. Down side is we have to put the f***ing tree up tomorrow.

I never clean behind or under my sofas. I have best beloved or daughter do it for me - I supervise, it's all about delegation! Once a month is enough.
