not too much i wouldn't think. I'm off work so actually getting me to go out will be a challenge. fatty will blow all his wages in the pub but thats normal. and i have i a lot of wine already in as gifts. i'll probably save money
As it happens I have done my alcohol shop this morning!
36 cans of Lager
24 cans of cider
1 large bottle Malibu
1 large bottle of vodka
1 Large bottle of Port
1 Large bottle of Brandy
1 single malt whiskey (put away for sipping purposes only)
3 bottles of pepsi
2 bottles of lemonade
1 bottle of tonic water
About £20 for three bottles of wine and maybe get some champers if it's still on offer. I reckon it'll be about £35 max if I get champers and some beers as well.
I may not spend anything. But daughter arrived on Saturday for her holiday visit with 3 bottles each wine and cava. I may treat myself to some liqueur of some sort.
We spent about £30 on various drinks because we had a small 'gathering' on Friday.......but everybody brought their own and left what they didn't drink....our stuff remains untouched and we now have more than we started with.
not much. even foodwise I'm trying to concentrate on Christmas day lunch and nibbles on Christmas eve rather than lots of junk we just wont eat.
drinkwise its a bottle of bucks fizz for breakfast, 2 bottles of sparkling white for lunch. I have 2 crates of German beer and whatever homebrew is ready.
Same as JTH, I spent about £25 on alcohol for our gathering on the weekend, but everyone brought their own and left lots too.
I now have a well stoked fridge of wine, beer and plonk. Result! :-)
