Don't just answer "I am on the computer".
I am procrastinating, knowing I should be doing other things like polishing the pedestals and top of a massive mahogany table that has been stored in a shed all the year and needs a good polish. It us the only one that will seat ten.
First I filled up th bird feeders (another bit of putting off).

Not a lot, as all the preparation work for Xmas has been done. I am contemplating making a fish finger sandwich.................
I'm wondering where else in the house I can look for some change for the car park when I go to the pub later.
I'm trying to get my son's old X Box to work, without much success !
Am finishing knitting a hat/scarf set for son' girlfriend's present while waiting for Countdown final to come on. Really glad that there is a lady in the final for the first time (I think). She went to the school where I used to work too and remember her.
I'm off sick today and only just up. No voice, streaming cold and a tight throat. I went in yesterday as i had a lot on but it took several doses of Lemsip Max to get me through. Not much on today so I booked myself out and have slept it off a bit. I'm sure my colleagues don't want to be catching it for Christmas. I have to go in again on Christmas Eve - should be fine by then.

Now this afternoon I think I'll potter about on here, play a few games and watch some TV. Its all a delight when you don't normally get to do it. Any recommendations?
I'm doing housework verrrrry slowly. I have this horrible head cold.
I work in cafe but having been quite busy this morning it is now so very quiet there is nothing we can do but sit around and wait the next (if any) customer till closing time. We're on an Industrial Estate, away from any passing trade, many of the businesses on the estate have closed midday for Christmas celebrations or shut down till after New Year. So here I am (on the computer) just browsing and chatting with friends. Can't do any final clean-ups till end of business today as all the fryers, grills etc must stay on incase anyone does come in to be served :(
winding up the sales staff with a fake poo
watching darts on sky
I've got a cold too and feeling sorry for myself. Cof, cof, hack, hack!! Only consolation is that it will probably be better for Christmas by which time every one else will have the bloody thing.
I am resting after battling Asda this morning. It was heaving. That's me done now till Christmas is over.
Having a coffee and piece of cake after a stressful morning. Went to the dentist for 08.30hrs and early morning dentist was late, he'd bent his Merc, Then to the hospital for a 10.40hr appointment and as usual everything was running late and even though I was only in with the consultant 15-20 minutes I didn't get through till 13.30hr. Luckily Trish had got most of the shopping done so it was only a case of back home and relax.
Over seeing Mini Boo write out her family Christmas cards.
I'm at work... just had chinese takeaway for lunch with colleagues and now waiting for 3pm so I can leave here, not to return till the 2nd January!!
Cutting the Spuds, Cali, & doing another tea due to some basds said the world was ending at 12, so I throw the last pans fulls away.
To add, If you have Seinior elderly neighbours, don't forget to look in.
senior
just home from work

begun doing the pate for christmas dinner
I'm drinking Fizz (I love grateful clients). And putting off stuff I really should be getting on with.
Just finished washing the cloakroom floor. Now resting and waiting for a call from solicitors (well, a solicitor. He's stuck at his desk; his mates had all cleared off on holiday by yesterday, if partners, and by lunch today, if not). May have to go in and sign conveyancing papers this afternoon.

Don't see why the junior profession shouldn't be kept working to the last minute. It's the senior profession that she be lounging and drinking champagne (yes, Barmaid, don't you agree? )
