Greedy little things! Can't blame them, I've got through over half of a 1kg bag of wild birdseed, they've demolished two fat-balls (about 2 and a 1/2 inches in diameter) two halves of fresh coconut and three containers of peanuts (that'll be the squirrel too, it's a myth they hibernate) since Tuesday. Have to get more supplies tomorrow from the Aquarium shop
Well I just took the waterfowl some corn, seeds and sultanas and they turned their beaks up at it. So now I've wedged a plastic plate in a tree which is inaccessible to the moggies and left it for the little birds.
its been non stop here watching loads of robins and accasional bird eating uncooked porridge oats off the ledge near our window.
Keep clearing bits of snow away and restocking it.
When i say loads of robins, I mean just the two who are here every few minutes. So much fun to watch them x
Tbh the garden birds are probably quite safe from cats at the moment. Mine are limiting their visits to nip out and do what is necessary then back in to the nearest radiator.
