Can anyone please give me some advice on cleaning mirrors?  Probably the most stupid question ever but my bedroom full length mirror has gone all grey and misty - I used a bathroom cleaner (which apparently you could use on mirrors) but it's ruined it - I can't even clean it with water!  Any ideas?  Many thanks!!

I use a Microfibre cloth (available in most supermarkets) to clean mirrors -  can be used without any cleaning sprays at all - great results.
Hot water and vinegar and a good buff up as ceebee says with a microfibre cloth or crumpled newspaper. If all else fails try some methylated sprits.
Years ago I worked in a Butchers shop and we always cleaned glass with vinager and newspaper, always came up spotless.
meths diluted with water is a good one too.  Picture framers often use it to clean the glass.
I always use windolene,the bottle,not the wipes,and I never have any problems.
Apply meths first  then scrunch up newspaper and wipe for a spotless finish. I had to clean acres of windows using this formula when I started work.
Vinegar and a very small squirt or washing-up liquid... don't put too much in to make lots of bubbles as it will leave smears on the glass. Use hot water. Newspaper is great, but you can also try rubbing the window with half a potato which prevents condensation! Lemon juice is also great in place of vinegar!
