Dangly Earrings

I mainly wear long dangly earrings which just hook through. Lately, because I've been wearing the type of scarf which wraps twice round my neck and comes quite high up, I have twice had an earring come out unnoticed. First time I found it in the footwell of the car, second time it's completely lost goodness knows where.
I've looked online but can't find anything specific to holding this type of earring on, and I don't think a stud back would work. Any suggestions?

You can buy replacement backs.
Hate this shop with a passion, but it's probably the best place to get them and there's usually one in every town!

What about these, they hook at the ack to make them more secure

You just have to attach the dangly bit to them, I used to do it all the time with gold and silver wires as I'm allergic to other metals.

I've just tried a couple of backs, both plastic and metal, from other stud earings but due to the shape of the hook part of the dangly earrings, none of the backs will slide up. I'll maybe try Clare's and see if any of those work madmen, thanks for the suggestion.
Rocky, that's another good idea for some of them, others are kind of welded so it wouldn't be possible, but thanks anyway.
You can get little plastic ones in Claires ethandron, which are made from flexible material. They would do the job.
same thing happened to me lost two errings from different pairs now i wear ones with push on backs until the better weather x
Catching an earring in your scarf could be quite painful !

Mally, that's what I've resorted to but I do love my dangly ones, they're part of me being me :) I'd rather a pair got stolen than lose one, it's really annoying isn't it?
Will definitely try Clare's ones madmen, thanks again.
Jj, been there, done that, ouch!
the ones i lost were expensive i just buy cheapy danglies from argos etc now, roll on good weather x
