Could anyone recommend where I can get some from which aren't too expensive, ideally a nice large size bath sheet, the big ones you can wrap all around you.

I agree with ubasses-TKMaxx always has a good selection in gorgeous colours.
LOL

But even if you do adopt Noodles's theft option ... do they really get you dry?

My non fluffy towels work better than my fluffy ones.
The fluffiness is going to be a consequence of how you wash them.

Don't use fabric conditioner as it affects the absorbency and if you have one finish them off in the tumble dryer.

I'm sure TKMaxx will have some good deals otherwise I'd head to House of Fraser or John Lewis and look at their own ranges.
I hate fluffy towels! I like the ones that exfoliate and dry at the same time! :)
I think I'm with Erin, actually.
I bought a bath sheet from Tesco to use for taking swimming. Never had them before from there, usually get them from Debenhams but so far it has been really good and a decent size.
Meant to say, it was only £7.

Thanks all :) I never think of looking in TKMaxx! Will try and pop in tomorrow. Got House of Fraser too.

Do I need a card for Costco?

Mine are the rougher sort though I don't tend to be a rough dryer. More of a pat dry kinda gal :) I do my rough stuff in the shower with a massage sponge then like to wrap myself in soft and fluffy while I faff about brushing my teeth, sticking moisturiser on etc...

Love it Noodles! :) The amount of hotels round here I could end up with a fresh one each day haha ;)

I tumble dry pretty much everything. Always forget not to use fabric softner though as just tend to chuck it in with everything.
Most people know someone who has a Costco card.

The hotel bit sounds good, obtain one in a morning, return it next day for them to launder. Mmmm, good idea.

Ooh will check Tesco too then, been meaning to get up to a large one as I want to look for lactofree milk sachets so can look at them too :)
Jen ...

If you're going to live off stolen hotel towels, mremember to stock up on soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Oh, and pens. You can never have too many pens, even if they do all have "Thistle Hotels" on them.

Don't forget the biscuits n T bags.

I can have a look at others too as keep meaning to get swimming again (currently not risking it due to not chickenpox but still spottiness) and need some lighterweight easy dry (well, not heavier ones which will get more soggy and drippy when trying to carry them home) ones for that. Cheap ones which will survive wash, swim, wash swim... or are cheap enough they are easily replaceable.

Don't worry Noodles, the hotel towels round here are safe :)
