Knitting Problem

Some time ago I was given instructions for casting on which, somehow by knitting into a row below, gave a turned more elastic edge. Lost them! Can anyone help

thanks for the link but the method isn't there. I know it involves using a larger needle to cast on and then possibly knitting into the bottom of the stitches on th next row??

The invisible cast on is the nearest as I remember now that it involved a length of different wool but none of them appear to form a sort of hem.n Am I missing something?
