Soap Powder

Do you use the ordinary soap powder for washing clothes, the washing liquid or the liqui-tabs? Which brand do you prefer ? Which brand do you find gives best results?

I stopped using washing powder because it clogged up the waste pipes with big lumps of solid powder. Can't make up my mind which to use but at the moment I am trying liquitabs.

I use cheap version ariel and lenor softener.
Love the smell of lavender softener in freshly laundered bedding.
Had to pour lenor away this morning as it had solidified. Is this unusual?

liquid from a bottle, not in capsules. I use persil non bio.

I used crappy cheap powder from supermarket (but OH is a plumber so he cleans the pipes regularly) I am using a own brand jazmine softener, and it is gorgeous, I wash the floors with it too! I would prefer a liqiud detergent but I wash so much that a bottle would be gone in 2 days and that would set OH off!! I always put the soap powder straight into the drum!

I use liquitabs...no particular preference, just what ever is on offer at which ever shop I happen to be in
