Hi pdust - I have been using microwaves from 1984 - and I never defrost - just put in as normal for (it depends what are you defrosting) minutes and when it begins say meat if there is a little blood coming out take it out and turn round - it willl still be a bit frozen inside but it will be okay. Then leave it for a while - I couldnt be arsed with defrost. Now if it was a bit lump of meat obviously that would be defrosted the night before -
Conne, I've done that too.
I've put in on lowest setting and blasted for a minute, then rotated the thing and another minute (or seconds depending upon what I'm defrosting)
Pixie, according to the blurb, there's some sort of automatic weighing for the m/wave. Is your turntable on properly?
(Silly question)
