Painting An Old Garden Shed
3 Answers
I have acquired an old garden shed at the allotment and would like to paint it a pastel colour. I don't think it has ever been painted and I don't want to go to too much effort or expense. Please could someone advise the best way to go about it. Many thanks

You probably wont even notice the first coat you put on as it dries, it tends to simply disappear into the wood. Allow for several coats. Personally, I wouldn't go to too much expense. Use up some tins of old paint. You could do stripes or patterns if you don't have enough of a single colour. Always check your allotment agreement first to make sure there's no rules and regulations as to colours etc before you start.
