Gnomes Allowed

I see that the Chelsea Flower Show are allowing gnomes into their gardens for the first time as a special for the centenary. Do you agree with this. Some celebs are painting a gnome to be auctioned off for charity later this week. What would you paint your gnome as if you had one

perhaps Ed has had some influence. Who knows. He does get about a bit doesnt he. I think I would make mine a pirate with a telescope in his hand instead of a fishing rod

About 2 years aGo I was the proud (and somewhat shamefaced) owner of two large (about 3 feet high) plastic pornographic gnomes. I forget where they came from. One was baring his ass, the other had his willy out. As they do.

I thought it a great prank to leave them in Lil's garden so she would see them on her return from holiday the next morning. She saw them out her kitchen window and screamed. She reported it to her brother, a copper in the Leicester Met, and he took them away. She thought it was a burglar (????) or a pervert!!!

I never did get them back.

A relief really - they were really quite horrible. :-)

Pay great attention when you are out & about. Look for Gnomeobiles & you are sure to spot one or two carrying a Gnomeavid Camera.

See what I mean, that little gnome Murphy sure does a lot of travelling.

Gness - there was a bloke that stole a gnome from someone's garden and took it travelling with him. He took photos of him and the gnome all over the world. On his return he returned the gnome to it's owners with the pictures of where it had been in the last 18 months or so.
