Scented Plants

Hi Answer Bank brain trust.Ive brought three long troughs to put outside our living room window If we ever have a summer, what plants would give off a lovely summery scent.? Thanks in advance.

Sow night scented stocks directly into the troughs....the smell in the evening is awesome. You could also try some sweetpeas for tubs and troughs and i noticed my locals garden centres selling night scented phlox. Deep blue Petunias are also nicely scented
