Le Creuset Kettle

Thanks for tips for stainless steel pots - any ideas on cleaning the outside of a le creuset kettle? Again, it has marks from gas flames, also greasy from frying pan splashes - I'd try sugar soap but would it be too strong? Very grateful again for any tips

What about a solution of water and bicarb? Seems to clean everything ;)

Can I ask, is the kettle heavy?

I put my le creuset in the dishwasher,OK we occasionally have to have new handles,but they clean beautifully.

Thanks, giveup, I got a lot off by soaking in wash-up liquid, carefully using a brillo, then decided I'd try it in the dishwasher - wish I'd stuck with an electric kettle now!!!!
