Had A Good Day Today?
26 Answers
i've had another busy day in the garden. really managing to get the veg plot in order now. it was very neglected last year but is looking better. have got loads of onion sets in and shallots in and leeks are ready to go in tomorrow. have also put in rows of beetroot, parsnips, carrots, mooli, first planting of runner beans and french beans and two rows of spinach, have cleared round the bushes in the fruit cage. planted pea plants in fruit cage (stops the rabbits eating them). put carrots, radishes and beetroot and more spinach in the poly tunnel as we have just finished eating the last lot. got cauliflowers and broccoli ready to go in tomorrow.
really enjoyed my glasses of wine tonight. what have you been doing?

Had a so-so day, no Sunday lunch cooked today. MrAsk in hospital with new knee, supposed to be coming home today but maybe tomorrow because his blood count is too low. He's miffed, I'm busy visiting, and glad of the rest. Did a bit of gardening and bought some lights to put around the tree.
Hope your cat comes home daffy, mine wandered off for a couple of days I was frantic but he just turned up, think he found a ladyfriend nearby.

Yes my day was good, I was very busy day at work. Thanks for asking.
Lady J, here's wishing your garden flourishes and give you lots and lots of produce. You have been a busy bee :)
Hope your cat come home soon, Daffy. Are there trees nearby? Did you remember to look up in them to see if perhaps poor puss might be stuck up in one?
