Something Wonderful
15 Answers
has happened in my garden this year.
The lupins do not have lupin aphids, the roses do not have blackspot and I haven't seen any evidence of greenfly. However, my apple trees didn't blossom, my magnolia didn't blossom and my Lily of the Valley only produced one flower spike.
What is going on?

But hardly any roses are out yet at all. Usually by now all the rose bushes are weighed down with flowers, but only one out of eight has open flowers yet. And this is central England.
