I use baking powder for dog smells. Hoover carpet, sprinkle on and leave for a few hours, then Hoover, seems to work.

I kitchen roll with foot to get as much wee out as possible, then use white vinegar and biological soap powder then add bicarb of soda, make it froth well, then leave for ten mins, use your foot to rub in, then hot soapy water to remove, then I use lemon juice try to air to dry, once dry cover spot with carpet freshner 89p from asda ( shake and vac) cats hate it as it smells so citrus, good luck. I have 10 cats, lol
