A bit dated now. It might make a room hasn't been repapered since the 1950s! Woodchip was fine back then and easy to remove. Then all the manufacturers decided to produce it with a washable water-resistant coating, making the modern stuff the very devil to remove. (I know a painter and decorator who won't take on work that involves removing it!). Anagglypta is fine if you want a relief-patterned paper. I'd use a heavy lining paper rather than a bare plaster wall. The paper will cover any small defects in the surface which, no matter how tiny, tend to stick out like a sore thumb.
