A friend has found woodlice and carpet moths in a rarely used room. Can anyone suggest what she might use to remove them? Thank you.

Regular vacuum cleaning will do it. In addition a steam cleaner will kill off any eggs and break static holding cr@p in the carpet fibres. Vacuum immediately after steam cleaning, and keep up the vacuuming thereafter.
