Congo Parrot Plant

Hi I have acquired a Congo parrot plant at least that's what I was told it is, but not a clue how to look after it, it has red and yellow flowers that look like a parrots beak under the leaves, it is about 24" high in a pot. Does it live outside or inside, does it like a lot of water or not much. The leaves have been dropping and it looks quite droopy but there are new flowers growing where the leaves have dropped off. I'm very good in the garden and can grow anything but I have not come across this plant before. usually my house is the last place a houseplant want's to be it's usually a death knell lol help.

sorry dave forgot to thank you for the link it was very useful I found out I wasn't watering it enough it needs to be kept moist thanks again xx
