Best Runner Beans To Grow ....... Ever!

We grow runner beans in large square pots every year as we love them! I have grown many different kinds in the past, Scarlet Emperor, Enorma, Prizewinner, Lady Di, Streamline to name just a few.

This year we tried White Lady, which has white flowers and found them to be the best we have ever grown. The pods are long and straight, paler then other varieties and a little slower to flower, but they are really tasty with an excellent yield, and above all not stringy at all, even now I'm still picking them and they are still tender without having to trim down the sides. It will be "White Lady" from now on!
