Am I being unrealistic in expecting a new conservatory to be so well sealed that wood lice should not be able to get in, or are they cunning devils who can get into anywhere?

well they can get into houses so why shouldn't the odd one get into a conservatory?

I've never had a problem with wood lice in the house, unless they all congregate under the sofa and I haven't noticed......
I got them in mine until we put sealant round the edge of the floor. There must be a cunning little hole they are using.
They get in mine and die!
Why would they enter unless your joists were damp or something ?
Question Author
They are dying in mine too! I just wish they'd choose a different place to congregate.

No joists as it is a concrete floor and uPVC construction.
Woodlice seem able to get everywhere, most in my house die in situ and I vacuum up the remains.
I find them in the middle of my living room carpet, usually dead, often lying on their backs.
I find them on my kitchen floor,
they also appear upstairs, and ive no idea how they get there.
my house is fairly new, well insulated, clean, dry, no damp, no problems with any other insects except spiders.
Its a mystery

Hhhmmmm, I'll get my caulking gun out ans see what appears after that.

Thanks all.
