I bought a new washing machine a few weeks ago. It was deliered and connected. Everything was fine till I went to top up the pressure on my boiler and no water is coming into the boiler.
Any ideas what's happened please. Boiler is due a service next month. It will be a year old

Does the boiler have 2 taps on the topping-up pipe?
Question Author
Yes. I think its a non return valve.
Maggie, it sounds as though they manged to alter or turn off the supply to the boiler when the W/M was fitted.

I can only suggest you contact whoever fitted the W/M, and tell them about it.
The only alternative is to have your own plumber look at it.
There'll be a simple answer to it. :o)
...ahem........ ^^^^^^ "managed" ^^^
