Military Discount From Utility Providers ?

My daughter has just moved house - her boyfriend is in the Military, currently in Afghan
Do any of the providers offer miltary discount - especially Broadband as they facetime every day if possible

There is an HM Forces discount booklet which sets out the various discounts offered by all manner of businesses so that would be a good place to start.

However the discount will only be available to your daughters boyfriend so he will have to be the one to set up the contract with the supplier.

Why on earth should the military get discounts on anything? What about nurses. doctors, teachers, firemen, policemen etc etc etc

I was thinking much the same; but in fairness many commercial companies arrange discounts for their staff with local and/or national retailers etc. too. Not utilities that I know of though.

It is not unusual for discounts to be offered to large organisations.

I have no reason to think that any of the groups mentioned by diddlydo are not offered discounts too.

There are many discount schemes as you say, I a enrolled on this one. Always worth checking.

I was not saying that no one else should get help, however- is your partner the other side of the world fighting for his country for 6 months ???
Incidentally - my daughter is a nurse in the NHS as been all her life and also served in Afghan
