Overheating Mazda Van
I have A E2000 Mazda Van that keeps overheating. I have checked head gasket and that is ok. The radiator cowling/shroud was missing so I installed a new one. I have flushed out entire system, used various rad cleaners/flushers. and water runs clear when draining. I have removed the Therostat at the moment to help cooling. I can see good flow of the coolant through the rad cap so the water pump seems ok. After all that it still overheats. I can only think that the Rad is blocked and I need to replace. HELP. anyone have any ideas of a solution would be brill. cheers

Once on major roads higher speeds then temp gauge gets hotter, but not quite boiling. Today I installed new Rad cowling and it overheats very quickly anywhere (so worse than before) so now I know why previous owner removed cowling. A cheap fix to the problem I think. ok for small journeys but no good for long/harder ones. A new Rad keeps coming to mind?
