I use it for brushing meat with olive oil. Now it needs a good clean . Help. !!!

Pour some lemon juice into a beaker and add a few drops of washing up liquid.Swish brush around in this and wipe dry.
You can get pastry brushes with silicone "things" rather than real brush on them.....SO much easier to use and keep clean.

Stick it in the dishwasher.
A cup of hot soapy water and give it a good swish and a bash against the side/bottom of the mug.

I would probably just bung it in the dishwasher.

Silicone is much easier to wash.

I do wonder what is wrong with drizzling a little oil on your meat and using your fingers to wipe it over though, or if you prefer a piece of kitchen roll.
The bristle type do seem to grab and hold the oil, I keep a separate one for things like egg wash etc.
