Help With My Vhs Player Please
4 Answers
Hi all, My VHS player packed up, and since I've a load of tapes,
I was given another one, no remote, but apparently nearly new.
I plugged into my telly and it worked fine, picture clear as a bell.
The following day I tried another tape, and this time I got just a blue
screen, but every time I played 'play' it went to the EXT output (as
expected), no sound, nothing. I tried it on my old telly, and it worked!
So I put it back on my usual telly, and again it worked with a variety of
tapes. The following day, nothing except a blank screen. I tried on the
old telly agin and the same thing happened as before. Following day, same
thing happened. I tried it on the old telly and this time, although it goes
to the channel that the player is tuned to, now it says 'no signal' I can't
get it to work now on either telly. I've tried switching on and off,
changing the SCART lead, everrything.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks all in advance.
