how about buying some flannels and bars of soap wrap the flannel round soap to form a flower cover with cling film perhaps including a nailbrush and nail file etc all available poundland .
charity shops have a selection of very good condition toys (some are new )or a very cheap price
I think anything that you've taken the time to make yourself is lovely and wonderful.
A couple of years ago my wife and I decided to spend only £10 on each other at Xmas.

I went round to a few Poundland stores and It's a Pound and 99p Store type shops and it is was amazing what stuff you could pick up for a pound or so.

I managed to buy her about half a dozen presents that only cost me £10 in total.

I was thinking of baking some biscuits. I like the suggestions so farx
Brilliant. Home baked biscuits. Make a Christmassy label. Try and find some plain bags. Label. Ribbon. Sorted. I'll email you my address. Make sure you pack them in scrunched up newspaper. I don't want them to arrive all broken.

why don't all the adults agree not to buy presents and just buy or make for the children ,thats what we have done in our family .
except our mums that is lol
You can get 50 clear presentation bags from Lakeland for £3 (I use them instead of party bags, tied with a bright pipe cleaner).
Really simple recipe for gingerbread here....

I would say to add more ginger [or mixed spice] and cook for about 10 minutes as they stay a little chewy in the middle that way :0)
