Virgin Media Anti-Virus Alert
3 Answers
All those using Virgin Media as their Internet Provider should have received notification that the internet security included within your bill, will cease at the end of this year.
So you will need to make alternate arrangements to protect your PC/Laptop/Tablet.
Virgin is offering 12 months free with F-Security SAFE and £79.99/year after that – no doubt hoping that many will forget to cancel their subscription.
As I bank on-line with Barclays – I will be taking advantage of their free Kaspersk internet security (3 user licences).
I would strongly advise all Virgin Media customers to review their internet security arrangements before New Years' eve.

I wasn't even aware Virgin Media offered any form of anti-virus or Internet protection and I've been with them since day one, and long before (back in the days when it was NTL). I've always used Norton or McAfee to protect my computer and still do. To be clear though, I only have my internet supplied by VM, I don't have the TV or phone package. Plus I only have the basic lower priced broadband so maybe that's why I've never been offered the internet security you speak of.
