...outside your place right now? I'm being subjected to the whining of chainsaws and the coughing of a wood-chipper. The City is doing some major trimming of trees, and they're not Christmas trees. Really annoying.

The new neighbours next door.................they've been drilling the wall for the last 3 hours, I'm sure any time soon I'll be handing them a coffee through said wall.

Absolutely nothing ! I am on holiday in my caravan, down near Lands End and if I put my head out of the door, all I can hear is the slight noise of my gas oven, cooking my roast chicken dinner !

By the way, went to Newquay, and St Ives today...lovely sunshine all day, and about 10 degrees...who needs "abroad" !

It's pretty quiet here, if you go outside and concentrate you can hear road noise.

The chainsaws were out on the trees yesterday at 8am.......I struggled to see the positive in this disruption to my morning :-(
