Can I Buy A Electric Combined Drill/screwdriver
25 Answers
Since having a garage burglary before Christmas, we are now in the process of replacing some of the tools which were taken.
We had a drill taken and a lovey ratchet screwdriver set which I liked because it had lots of different sizes of heads and was easier for me to use than a 'manual' screwdriver. I just wondered, before I go looking,............is it possible to get an electric drill which also serves as a screwdriver with lots of different sizes heads.
We still have the drill bits. They didn't take those.
I want to ask for the right thing when I go to B&Q. I don't want to be thought of as a dumb blonde!

You often see the screwdriver sets in "bargain" shops. They are in little soft plastic boxes of about 20 bits. These are OK for infrequent use as the metal the bits are made of is quite soft and easily turn in the screw. It's worth paying a bit extra for some quality ones from one of the DIY sheds....

I've got one similar these as my second drill. Perfectly adequate. Whatever you get I'd aim for an 18v one. Lower voltages don't always have the power you need.
