Used Stamps

Can anyone recall the Quiz Setter who asked if anyone had used stamps that they would be grateful for them. Can't find who it was, must have sent the quiz back without the stamps. Thanks for any information.

I take mine to local library who pass them on

when all my quizzers who post their quizzes back to me for marking, I take off the used stamps and put tem all into an envelope and when I have a certain amount I take them to Brechen (Scotland) cathedral and they send them overseas. So, If anyone has any used stamps or any old stamps that they no longer need I would be pleased to pass them on. If you are doing that and they are on envelopes, just tear them off and just leave about a 1" square of paper around the stamp. Any quizzers that have extra used stamps and want to get rid please send them with your quiz for marking. :)

If anybody would like to help cats they can send used stamps to ,Warehouse,National Cat Centre,Chelwood Gate, Haywoods Heath, Rh17 7tt

We take ours into our local Age Concern shop - they send them to be sold to foreign collectors. Guide Dogs for the Blind also collect them. If you can take them to a local collection point, there's no need for you to pay to mail them to a central place elsewhere.

It could have been me as I take them all to the donkey sanctury in sidmouth. Any stamps received with thanks, but as long as someone uses them it doesnt matter which cause you choose to support, just seems a waste to chuck them away.
