New Or Recovered
5 Answers
I want to either replace my existing setter arm chair and pouffe.
Its in very good shape and was good quality when we purchased 7 years ago.
We have very limited space to get in and out, but know the existing settee came in so it much go back out. However I am rather nervous buying a new one in case it doesn't make the sharp turn to the sitting room.
So my question is does anyone have an idea of cost to recover furniture these days.

It is feasible to re-cover any soft furniture but the cost may be prohibitive, unless you are prepared to do it yourself. If you do, and need advice, there are lots of youtube videos dealing with this.
The cost will also vary depending on whether you opt ofr removable loose covers, or for a proper re-upholstery job.
I doubt anyone could give you an actual price without looking at the job.

I wouldn't attempt a DIY job...or loose covers. My niece had loose covers made by the well known company and never satisfied with them I think they look shabby. I'm a smooth no wrinkles kind a girl [except my face lol]
I will give a couple of upholsters a call fro a quote before I make a decision.
Thanks again x
