Considering an induction job, any pros or cons?
I know you have to make sure you have the right pans but one thing has crossed my mind - can you heat up an empty frying pan or griddle pan in which to cook a steak or a chop?
Any brands better than others?
Any useful info very welcome, thanks.

Yes, so long as its the right material for the job. It works when the pan is placed on the hob. Once you remove a pan it turns itself off.

I've had mine for almost 7 years and would hate to use any other type of gib now. Soo easy to clean with a simple wipe too.
