my daughter has a Beko condenser tumble dryer. It is only 12 months old, but the guarantee ran out on the 6th April. When she puts it on, after about 10 mins the "clean filter" light comes on and the tumble dryer stops. She cleans the condenser every 3 months and the filter every time she uses it. The water bottle is emptied on a regular basis. She has nevertheless, taken it all out, cleaned condenser, cleaned filter (even cleaned round inside the space where the filter goes with her hoover) and still it keeps saying clean filter". Any ideas of anything else we could try before calling an engineer, thanks.
I must say we have had similar troubles, I usually just thoroughly clean everything out and make sure you can actually see daylight through the openings in the condenser, I flush mine out with a powerful hose jet.
Then turn everything off for a while before switching it back on. This has always worked for us.
I can only guess. However the filter clean requirement is detected, could it not be triggered by a blockage elsewhere from the filter itself ? Perhaps in the pipes leading to or from it ? If you can get your fingers in and around the inlet & outlet then maybe you can find/dislodge something the hoover couldn't budge. Tumble driers do seem to create a lot of 'fluff' off of clothes, it could be getting anywhere.
