Potatoes

If i have potatoes in the kitchen that have started to 'sprit' will they grow more potatoes if i plant them or do I need seed potaoes for this?

Yes, they'll grow into more spuds, done it myself before now. If you're only going to bin them and have room to plant, give 'em a go!

At my old place we had a very large garden quite a lot of which was under Veg and I never bought seed potatoes for years.If you're not bothered about varieties it's as good a way as any of getting your seed.
