Marks On Pvc Front Door

I have found a black smear mark on my front door...have got the worst off but it still shows(like a light grey wash effect)..tried EVERYTHING..even the speciaL stuff I bought for cleaning PVC ...can anyone suggest something...please!!!!

Bicarbonate of soda..mix a paste smear on..leave a bit ..then wipe

when we moved into a house there was a horrible grubby mark on the pvc side door in the garage- we got it off using caravan cleaner- dunno if you've tried that but it did come of when nothing else would move it.

Hi Kloof, I have always use a product that I use in car valeting "De-Greaser" all our windows are PVC including the front / rear doors, they look like the day they were put in, the only thing you have to be careful with is the Black inner strip, but the marks will still come off using the product.

I gt mine from a Car Valet Specialist not for the Public I'm sorry, If you go into any Car DIY shop and ask for Engine De Greaser, check a small area first Kloof, I will go into my shed and check the named product, back in 5mins

Yeah Caravan Cleaner- it's for cleaning off residue from the exterior of caravans after they'e been parked for the winter- it shifts that nasty green tree slime and tar and all sorts of other things. You can get it from any caravan dealer or shop I think.

Not sure if this was the brand but this is the sort of stuff, it's good for dark streaks. Halfords sell this one apparently.

Ed, this I hope is not advertising only been helpful!! the Product is called,
Full Force, the seller, Saanro, Taylor Court, Haslington Lanc's, I do not think they sell to the public but if you contact them, they will advise you, as said, I have always used this product on my valets, & windows / doors, it brings them up like knew, good Luck.

Ive used Windoleen and watered down T Cut.

I take it you've tried Cif? It will gently remove the top surface of plastics and leave a polished result. But if the stain has penetrated into the PVC, nothing's going to remove it, and a coat of paint is going to be the ultimate answer, alas.
