Does anyone know the proper name of those sticky pads you use to hold hooks up without drilling holes. And also how to get the residue off UPVC doors, it leaves such a mess? Thanks

I use brake cleaner to get sticky stuff off things. Mr P usually has a can lying around the workshop, so I just pinch it from him. Shifts anything.
