just interested to hear your views , if you had grass at the front of the house and decided to get it block paved and the kerb dropped so you could park your car on it would it bother you if people then kept coming up on your drive to turn round in there cars
thank god for that cos it really chesses me n hubby off but when i mention it to friends they act like we shouldnt be bothered i just think its damn rude especiall as there is a public driveway that leads to some garages by my house where they could turn or a little bit further down road another road where they could turn , and yes ecclescake it was all done legally and fees paid
I have block paving and a dropped kerb, pretty painful to the uninitiated
the odd van has had to turn round in our cul-de-sac but only backs up as far as the gate, no-one has ever reached the driveway. I would view that as a bit of a cheek if they did.
i never turn on someones drive its just rude , so i paid £2500 for people to turn round on my property if i had left it as grass they would dream off doing it why is it different cos its block paved , no cannot fit gates i live in a row of terraced houses
im gonna consider them slackalice what i would love is one that cud pop up when ppl are turning on drive and bet they wouldnt do it again once they paid for damage to car lol
Tezmand you could hide behind the nets and press a remote control and the bollard would creep up,,ha ha,I would love that. What annoys me is when people park half across my drive to go into another house, and there is plenty of room on the road to park.
We got lost up a country lane recently and had to turn around via someones drive, there was nowhere else ( we did look) it just took us seconds and then we left, no harm done.
