Depends what you're washing ;-)

Tee Hee delboy3 - I've gone all coy! Front bum, back bum, boys' bits. I can see that this will now turn into a debate about the names for THOSE parts of the body.

Hi Foxglove,

To be honest when we had one all I ever washed in it where my feet!
I guess does it depend on the shape of the bidet as to which way would be more comfortable. Would it matter so long as all bits get washed lol
I would think that maybe what ever way works for you is the right way, not like there is going to be a load of people stood there laughing and pointing cos your sat the wrong way.... is there? ;o)

I had a very pleasurable bidet experience sitting with my back to the taps. Mmmmmmm lovely and warm and tingly...

ahem!

As a matter of practicality consider this; do you turn your back to wash your hands?

The taps are positioned for you to operate them comfortably i.e. facing them.

...lol...steady down now.......you aren't supposed to sit there all night "messing around"...that's why they don't have a proper seat...........make them too comfy and some folk, lilyfrog maybe, would never come away...commoner <G>
Same way as in the bath - facing.

GREAT STUFF! thanks to everyone! Facing the taps it is!
Bidets are usually situated close to a wall, face away from the wall. That's what I do anyway.
