Hi there. I needed some AST advice. I have a tenant who has been living in my property. He stayed from Sept 13- Sept 14. I do not want to issue him with a 6 month or annual AST for personal reasons, can I issue a 3 months AST if possible. I have read that I may be able to do this as the tenant has lived at the property for over 6 months. Can anyone advise me please on this, mant thanks

what contract has he got now?
Question Author
He is still under the AST which runs out in September. I would ideally like to issue him with a 3 months contract only
