My garden seems to have been colonised by a weed that looks a little bit like small clover leaves. They`re a sort of reddy green colour. It`s between the patio stones and in the patio pots. I think someone mentioned it on here recently but I can`t remember the name. Does anyone know?

It sounds like the dreaded oxalis - difficult to eradicate as it has underground runners.

They have little pink flowers in the summer

Thanks janbee. It`s not campion. I remember picking those in the country lanes in the summer. This weed is close to the ground and spreads.
is it the ones then that have the little yellow flowers? I have them in between my patio stones

Thanks didd - that`s it. That must be your little yellow flowers janbee. It`s everywhere this year and not just my garden. Maybe it thrives in hot weather.
Looks like this?

I've got this and it can be a nightmare to eradicate. If you can, dig it out including all the roots, which can be very long and spreading. if it's in between paving stones/blocks then treat it with a spot Glyphosate weedkiller. If its managed to seed then you will get it back again and again.
